Dr. Talebizadeh is a registered Psychologist licensed to practice
in the Province of Ontario with competence in the areas of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology. She is authorized to provide services to adolescents and adults.

Dr. Talebizadeh holds a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. She has extensive experience in the treatment of various mental health conditions such as Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Pain Disorder and Adjustment Disorders. Furthermore, she has extensive experience completing independent psychological evaluations, motor vehicle accident assessments as well as psycho- educational assessments for individuals with learning/ academic difficulties.

Dr. Talebizadeh has worked in a variety of settings including clinics, hospitals, and post-secondary institutions and now in private practice.

Ms. Armita Hosseini is a Psychological Associate (supervised practice) with a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology from University of Western Ontario (2013) and a Master’s of Arts in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University (2015). Throughout her clinical training, she has worked for publicly funded mental health agencies including Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, East Metro Youth Services, Aisling Child and Family Discoveries Centre and has been involved in private practice working with various mental health difficulties and populations. Currently, she conducts psycho-educational and psychological assessments to adolescents and adults with learning, attentional or mood difficulties. In the past, she has assessed individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle or industrial accidents.

Armita is warm, compassionate and highly collaborative in her approach to treatment. She takes an integrative approach to treatment and is specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy for adolescents and adults. Therapy begins with a thorough psychological assessment to understand your life and the context of your concerns as well as develop the most effective and tailored treatment plan. Armita maintains a focus on the core concerns that impede your goals. She is sensitive and gentle in her approach and focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Currently, she is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a psychological associate under supervised practice.

Armita strongly believes in life-long learning and is active in professional development such as attending clinical training and workshops. She is a member of the following professional organizations:
